One thing leads to another - Intercontinental discussion

In the online conversation, "One thing leads to another: Five black woman artists from the South Atlantic in conversation about creative process", multi-directional artist Lindiwe Matshikiza, from South Africa, former resident of the Vila Sul Artist Residency Program of the Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia, and Brazilian dancer and educator Candai Calmon come together and invite three other black women artists to share their projects and artistic processes from within their particular contexts: dancer, Luiza Meireles (Brazil); multi-artist, Loiá Fernandes (Brazil), and performing artist, writer, director and educator Mwenya B. Kabwe (Zambia/South Africa). Each of the participants, all of whom share aspects of "continuous creative processes" as integral to their work, will have a conversation about the artistic projects they are involved in, also sharing visual material relating to their work. The digital event will take place on Friday 8 May at 4pm on the online platform Chorus Call, accessible via the Facebook pages of the Goethe-Instituts in Salvador and Johannesburg. The talk will be facillitated by journalist Mira Silva, with simultaneous translation by Fernanda Amâncio.
