Netiquette for Kulturama.digital

The quality of your posts is important to us. The following netiquette section provides tips on behaviour for creating your own posts. If everyone adheres to these communication rules, an environment can arise in which all users can enjoy creating and viewing posts.

We ask that you pay attention to a few things:

  1. The platform contains digital cultural offerings. Stick to the topic and express yourself objectively and respectfully. If you contradict posts by other users, don’t criticise the creators, but the content of the posts. Treat other members with respect. It is not permitted to insult, discriminate against, or defame users or groups of users on the basis of their religion, origin, nationality, sexual orientation, income, age, or gender.
  2. Make sure you don’t write anything and don’t upload media that contain violent, pornographic, or discriminatory content. Do not write anything or upload media that can hurt other people’s feelings, or religious and political views.
  3. You may not publish another person’s personal data.

Use only your own content:
No media that are legally protected may be published. Make sure that you are not violating any copyrights when you upload media or content. Do not use photos, texts, files, or documents by others without their consent. If your media depict people, they may not be published without their consent. (Right of personality)

If you do not adhere to netiquette, we will be forced to intervene:
The Goethe-Institut e. V. is entitled to review, save, edit, delete, or forward any content that violates netiquette or the law.

You are welcome to use hyperlinks, for example to refer to further information on a topic. The Goethe-Institut e. V. is not responsible for the linked content and does not check it. However, we reserve the right to remove links if the linked content violates the above rules. Commercial content and advertising are not allowed in the discussions.
