ce qui du monde se prélève permet à l'oeil de s'ouvrir

Artists: Maude Arès, Amélie Proulx, Giorgia Volpe, Shabnam Zeraati
ce qui du monde se prélève permet à l’œil de s’ouvrir is an exhibition created by Collectif 20, which brings together artists Maude Arès, Amélie Proulx, Giorgia Volpe and Shabnam Zeraati. Each of their work questions the bonds between different forms of living and non-living. Their sensitive practices that focus on fragility explore a variety of approaches: creating micro-universes that act as isolated and precarious ecosystems, combining hybrid forms that enact scenes of various morphologies of the living, or creating forms that attest to the ever-changing construction of identities through their occupation of space.
Initially meant to be shown in the gallery space, the project has taken a digital turn in the context of COVID-19. An exhibition catalogue, quiz, videos and more are available online on Galerie de l’UQAM’s website and social media accounts.
