ILULISSAT (sound installation)
The sound installation "Ilulissat" comes from the howling of the sled dogs in the city of Ilulissat, Greenland. It is an installation with twelve speakers that has been shown in "Many voices, all of them loved", John Hansard Gallery, Southampton (2020), Jakarta Biennial (2017), "Whiteout", KW Berlin (2017), and "The Vincent Award", Gemeentemuseum Den Haag (2014).
Since 2016, the Vila Sul Artist Residency Program of the Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia has welcomed artists and cultural agents from various areas, languages and backgrounds with the proposal of strengthening dialogue between Brazil and other countries in the southern hemisphere. In "Mostra Perspectivas Vila Sul", will be exhibited, at www.goethe.de/perspectivasvilasul, various works of 22 of these international residents who have experienced seasons in the capital of Bahia.
