"Television" a Bangla movie: The chairman of a village bans all of the people from watching televisions and makes sure no one owns one either, stating that watching television is considered a sin for Muslims. When the chairman plans to travel for a holy pilgrimage (Hajj), he becomes a victim of fraudulence. That's when the chairman realises how television could save his religion.
The film was selected as the Bangladeshi entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards.
